I've been active in the antiques and collectibles market for over 25 years, with an online presence since 1999.
I started my online venture at eBay, and eventually decided to look into other venues. I looked at online malls and other hosted web sites, but opted to go for my very own site with licensed and professionally written software specifically made for e commerce, with a proven track record of performance and support.
My primary selling location of dewittco.com was born. It is a tremendous amount of work, but the benefits have paid off tenfold. I have a strong focus on textiles, sewing and paper goods, and have scaled back on other collectible genres for the time being.
The inventory is constantly changing, and the look of the web site continues to evolve, also. The latest big revamp of my site was finished at the end of May 2011. My primary goals for the web site are ease of navigation and speed, both of which I continue efforts to improve upon.
