Vintique+Jools

Hello and welcome to Vintique Jools An exciting and eclectic shop, always available right here at your fingertips! I am Ellen W. Gonchar, the sole owner and designer and it is my desire to offer you the finest possible quality and craftsmanship in jewelry design. My designs are not mass produced. Each one is individually made with a great deal of thought and care. I am not locked into one distinctive style. Each one of my creations is carefully thought out and created with joy and passion. Most often my designs begin with just a single component or piece of damaged vintage jewelry.

As a former buyer and seller of vintage jewelry I understand the value of such pieces and am unable to throw away one that may be brought back to life in a different form. Some refer to this process as repurposing or upcycling, I like to call it "New Vintage". I also have an extreme fondness of the Art Nouveau period of jewelry. For these pieces I purchase the finest stampings made from vintage dies and may colorize them with inks, acrylic paints, and enamel paints. Other pieces may be primarily from new findings, chains, and beads... it all depends on which path I follow.

Perhaps the most important thing for you to remember after visiting Vintique Jools having purchased one of my designs: You are not just purchasing a bit of metal and stones. A little part of me is in every piece I handcraft and therefore you become not just a client of mine but someone very special to me.
