Ashlawnfarms is where I grew up a Jersey Dairy Farm in Selma, Indiana. We dispersed the herd in 1988 after I graduated from high school. A few years later grandma taught me the art of quilting. She and I partnered and created many wonderful traditional quilts over the next 10 years. A stroke took her normal life and she passed 7 years later. During that time I stopped quilting. In the fall of 2006 I discovered rag quilting and quickly fell in love. I then discovered my talent to rag quilt as well as teach others how to rag quilt. Many of my rag quilted creations have been sent to buyers all over the world. I have created a few rag quilted patterns and have sold 500+ copies in 12 months over the web. They are easy for beginners and those who have been sewing for years. My husband, who is a graphic designer, created the .pdf documents and the graphics for me. Thanks for stopping by! And as grandma used to say: Stay awhile!
